Coronavirus: No positive case in Mauritius so far

While the virus keeps gaining ground across the globe, Mauritius has not registered its first positive case yet.

The number of people placed in quarantine across the island is estimated to be slightly over a hundred, 98 Mauritians and 6 foreigners.

According to the Ministry of Health, no cases of Covid-19 have so far been detected on the island.

The prime minister of Mauritius also took the decision of closing its doors to the countries of the European Union, including the United Kingdom and Switzerland. This restriction is valid from Wednesday for a period of two weeks.
