The father-daughter relationship is regarded as a sacred one. As they say, a father is a girl’s first love. Indeed, girls always look high upon their father and take them as an inspiration. If not all, most daughters do. Though it is also a fact that this relationship varies from individual to individual. Some are close to their dad while others it’s more a matter of respect. recently this is the topic which is creating havoc on social media. The reason: a certain celebrity kissed his daughter on the lips.
The man in question is David Beckham! Yes, the man of the football world is targeted by critics and cruel trolls for kissing his daughter of about 7 years on the lips. For those who follow up new, this has happened in the past too. in 2017, David Beckham posted on this Instagram a nice family shot of him kissing his five-year-old daughter while he was vacationing on the beach. A photo that many of his fans judged as inappropriate.
Following the sharing of this photo, the sports star has been entitled to a series of messages not pleasant to read as well as critics.
However, it seems that this incident did not affect him at all since the professional footballer was recently photographed in public sharing a kiss with his youngest child, whom he shares with his wife Victoria, during the World Club quarter-finals in Norway.
Needless to say, that this time as well, it created a blast over social media. His behavior, as well as his way of displaying affection to her little girl, has strongly been questioned. To the point that even the mention of child psychiatrists like Françoise Dolto has been cited, according to whom, kisses on the mouth were reserved for lovers, not for her children.
For his part, years ago the footballer clarified that “I got actually criticized for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day. I kiss all my kids on the lips…Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange. But I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children.”
He added, “We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them, and support them, and we’re very affectionate with them.”
