Chandigarh, November 4
Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, took a sharp jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for wading into a pond to catch fish in Bihar and said that “Rahul Gandhi is a great fortune teller and astrologer. He already knows that his Grand Alliance is sinking in the Bihar elections. That’s why he himself took a dip to symbolically convey the message. His dive was not just a stunt — it was a signal to the people that the Grand Alliance is going under this time.” Vij made these remarks while intracting with the media persons today.
Responding to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s recent remark suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should form a “Ministry of Insults,” the minister said that “These are the same parties that, whenever they got the opportunity, suppressed people’s voices, snatched away their right to speak, and curtailed their fundamental freedoms. Nothing positive can be expected from them — this kind of negativity is in their nature.”
Reacting to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement questioning how many times people would vote for Prime Minister Modi after seeing the same face, Sh. Vij retorted that “Kharge ji is jealous of Prime Minister Modi. Whenever Narendra Modi visits Bihar, the entire state comes alive with enthusiasm — crowds gather in huge numbers, and everyone wants to see him. But when Kharge ji goes to Bihar, even the crows don’t bother to look up. His comment is nothing but a reflection of that jealousy.” Vij further said that the people now clearly understand who is genuinely working for development and who is only engaged in empty rhetoric. He added that, “As always, the people of Bihar will once again choose the politics of development and leadership — not the politics of confusion and misleading statements.”
