These ‘Sugar and Oil Boards’ are the preventive shield, empowering every child with the knowledge to protect their own health. The mentioned boards are designed to educate students about the hidden risks of excessive sugar and oil consumption. Also the concerned boards display the detailed information of calories consumption, various healthy food items containing different kinds of food nutrients & vitamins along with graphically illustration of the sugar and fat content in commonly consumed snacks and packaged foods, serving as a powerful behavioral nudge to encourage students to make healthier food choices. These boards will be displayed in all the schools of Chandigarh. The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh lauded the Commission and the administrative departments for working tirelessly towards safety & wellbeing of Chandigarh.
