Ludhiana, January 31
GADVASU Teachers’ Association (GADVASUTA) honoured the distinguished service of Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Research and Dr. V.S. Malik, Senior Scientist in the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, on the occasion of their superannuation.
The event celebrated the lifelong contributions of both academicians to veterinary education, research and extension. The gathering brought together senior university officials, faculty members, research scholars, students and staff.
In his message, the Vice-Chancellor of GADVASU appreciated the outstanding role played by Dr. Parkash Singh Brar in strengthening the university’s research framework, promoting interdisciplinary research and mentoring young scientists. He also lauded Dr. V.S. Malik for his significant contributions in the field of veterinary physiology.
Dr. Brar, who has served the university in various capacities including leadership in research and extension activities, was honoured for his decades-long dedication to advancing veterinary science, mentoring young scientists and fostering collaborative research initiatives.
Dr. V.S. Malik, Senior Scientist in Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry, was recognised for his significant research work in animal physiology and reproductive biology.
GADVASUTA representatives felicitated the retirees and thanked them for their invaluable service to the institution.
