Rattled by the resurgence of the Shiromani Akali Dal, the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the the ‘Saam, daam, dand, bhed’ driven Aam Aadmi Party government has formed a motivated SIT to interfere in SGPC internal affairs. Making these remarks, Senior Akali leader and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that the actual and sole motive of this SIT is to work on the political agenda of the AAP which is to implicate S Sukhbir Singh Badal in a false case. Handpicked officers who have a grudge against the Akali Dal President and work as stooges of AAP Punjab have been included in this SIT.
In a post on X, Harsimrat wrote, “SIT Supervisory Officer – Amritsar CP Gurpreet S Bhullar. Bhullar did not even bother to register a FIR for six hours when an attempt was made to assassinate the SAD president in the Parikrama of Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar and then went on record to state that the attack could have been orchestrated by Sukhbir Singh Badal himself to gain public sympathy. SIT Member – SP Harpal Singh. He helped the person who tried to assassinate the Akali Dal president to conduct a recce of the place where Sukhbir was performing sewa as per the hukam of Akal Takht Sahib so that he could carry out the attack. Member SIT – Gurbans Singh Bains S.P. He is a tainted officer who was punished for corruption during the Akali regime and is also a member of the SIT which has lodged a false case against Bikram Singh Majithia.”
Bathinda MP further said another Member SIT – DSP Beant Juneja is the real brother of a Patiala based AAP leader and has been recently promoted as posted as DSP in Ludhiana. “To further their agenda the AAP Punjab has now posted former SSP, Tarn Taran – Dr Ravjot Kaur Grewal, who was suspended on the complaint of Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal during the Tarn Taran bypoll, has been posted in the Vigilance department even as Jyoti Yadav, the wife of Arvind Kejriwal’s blue eyed boy and cabinet minister Harjot Bains, has been posted as SSP, Bathinda with the aim of targeting the senior Akali leadership”, she added.
Let this be very clear to Bhagwant Mann and the AAP, Sukhbir Badal will not be cowed down by such desperate tactics of a failed government. “These actions clearly show the level of panic the resurgence of the Akali Dal has generated in the govt. With the support and blessings of the people of Punjab we will take this govt, which had failed the people of Punjab, head on and hold it accountable to the people of Punjab”, she concluded.
