Bharatiya Janata Party’s State President Sunil Jakhar has raised the issue of ensuring security for DM Dr. Gagandeep Singh Randhawa’s family. In a video message, he said that supporters of former minister Laljit Singh Bhullar are still shouting slogans in defense of his ideology, while the government has made no arrangements for the family’s safety. Not only that, no official has even visited the family to share their grief.
Jakhar said that DM Gagandeep Singh Randhawa’s wife belongs to a true and honest family, and the courage with which she is fighting for justice makes it seem as though she has the blessings of Goddess Durga during Navratri. That is why she is bravely struggling against these sinners of Kalyug for justice. Saluting her spirit, Sunil Jakhar said that she has not bowed before the tyranny of the government and is fearlessly fighting for her husband’s justice, because she knows her husband was a true and honest man.
The BJP President said that considering the slogans raised by the former minister’s supporters and the social media posts showing the influence of the minister’s family, the security of DM Randhawa’s family becomes even more necessary. On this occasion, he appealed to all Punjabis to set aside mutual differences and unite to ensure justice for an honest officer, so that those who took a precious human life are punished as an example, and the morale of people who keep the flame of honesty alive remains strong. He warned that if Gagandeep Singh Randhawa does not get justice today, tomorrow no one will stand for honesty in service of the nation and the state. He assured the family that the Bharatiya Janata Party stands firmly with them and will continue to do so until justice is delivered.
