Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura organized an expert session as part of the National Pharmacovigilance Week 2025 on the theme “Your Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI.” Sahil Jindal, Safety Services Project Lead and Medical Operations Lead, Parexel International Pvt. Ltd., was the guest speaker for the session for B Pharma and D Pharma students.
Jindal emphasized the growing need for awareness about the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and encouraged budding pharmacists to actively contribute to drug safety by timely reporting of adverse drug reactions. He shared valuable insights on the importance of pharmacovigilance in ensuring patient safety and discussed the practical aspects of drug safety monitoring in the real world.
The session titled “Pharmacovigilance: Promising Drug Safety in the Real World” was well-received by students and faculty. It aimed to educate future pharmacists about global safety standards, real-world challenges, and the role of professionals in improving healthcare outcomes.
