Ludhiana, November 7
The students of PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana, brought immense pride to the institution by securing First Position at “The Vastra Saga”, an inter-university and inter-college fashion show organized by CT University.
The event centred around the theme “Sustainability”, highlighting the growing importance of eco-friendly and responsible fashion in today’s world. Teams from various universities and colleges across the region participated, showcasing garments made from recycled, upcycled, and natural materials. Each collection reflected creativity, innovation, and awareness toward a greener planet.
The PCTE team stood out with their original concept, self-designed costumes, striking makeup, and confident ramp presentation. Every ensemble was conceptualized, designed, and styled by the students themselves, demonstrating their exceptional creativity, teamwork, and commitment to promoting sustainable fashion practices.
Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, lauded the students and faculty, saying, “This victory is a proud moment for PCTE. Our students have shown that creativity and responsibility can coexist beautifully. Their success reflects the strength of our design program and the dedication of our faculty.”
The achievement once again reaffirms PCTE’s commitment to providing hands-on, industry-relevant education that encourages innovation, responsibility, and excellence among its students, preparing them to lead the way in the ever-evolving world of fashion design.
