Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his heartfelt wishes to all people of Jharkhand on the occasion of the State’s Foundation Day. He said that Jharkhand is a glorious land enriched with vibrant tribal culture. Recalling the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the Prime Minister noted that the history of this sacred land is filled with inspiring tales of courage, struggle and dignity.
The Prime Minister also extended his good wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of all families in the State on this special occasion. Modi has also paid respectful tributes to the great freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his 150th Jayanti. He said that on the sacred occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, the entire nation gratefully remembers his unparalleled contribution to protecting the honour and dignity of the motherland. The Prime Minister added that Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s struggle and sacrifice against the injustices of foreign rule will continue to inspire generations to come.
