Ludhiana, January 20
The Ludhiana District Chess Association successfully organized the 4th Rajiv Nayyar Memorial Ludhiana District Chess Championship 2026 at BCM Arya School, Lalton Kalan, Ludhiana, with the participation of around 100 players from across the district. The championship featured competitions in the Under-9, Under-13, Under-17 and Open (Senior) categories, providing a strong platform for young and senior players to showcase their chess skills. Trophies were awarded to the top three performers in each category, while participation certificates and cash prizes were given to all players. The event was smoothly conducted under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Kritika Seth and was graced by Dr. Rajendra Chawla, former Secretary of the Ludhiana District Chess Association, as the special guest. The championship was efficiently organized by Mr. Arvinderpreet Singh of the Ludhiana District Chess Association.
