Road Safety Awareness Session at BCM Arya School, Lalton

Ludhiana, January 30

BCM Arya School, Lalton recently hosted a Road Safety Awareness Session for students of Class VIII and above, organised by ASHA CHINH Welfare Society. The session emphasised the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets and seat belts, and maintaining discipline on the roads.

The program was part of the ARROW (ASHA-CHINH Road-safety Responsibility Outreach Workshop) initiative, designed to instil road safety awareness among adolescents. The session was graced by the Guests of Honour — Dr. Rajinder Chawla and his team members Paras Bhatia, Dr. S. B. Pandhi, Dr. Amit Kishore and Head Constable Jasvir Singh from Ludhiana Traffic Police.

After the awareness session, ASHA CHINH Welfare Society conducted a road safety quiz for the students, which witnessed enthusiastic participation and active involvement. Four teams took part in the quiz. Traffic Titans secured the First Prize, while Speed Scholars won the Second Prize.

School Principal Kritika Seth thanked ASHA CHINH Welfare Society for organising the informative session and quiz, and emphasised the importance of inculcating safe driving habits from an early age to prevent road accidents.
