Chandigarh, April 13
On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, the senior leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab, led by State President Sunil Jakhar and Working State President Ashwani Sharma, will pay obeisance at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo, informed State Vice President Bikram Cheema.
In Guru Ki Kashi (Talwandi Sabo), Jakhar and Sharma will be accompanied by senior leaders including Sardar H.S. Phoolka, MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, MLA Jangi Lal Mahajan, along with State Office Bearers, State Core Committee Members, former MLAs, former Ministers, former MPs, and other party leaders.
After paying obeisance and listening to kirtan at the holy shrine, BJP leaders will participate in sewa by organising langar at two locations — Bathinda to Talwandi Road and Maud to Talwandi Road.
As part of its service initiative for devotees on the occasion of Baisakhi, BJP Punjab is also setting up two medical camps along with two langar facilities on Bathinda–Talwandi Road and Maud–Talwandi Road to assist and serve the sangat.
