Some Elements and Political Parties Are Insulting Hinduism: Anil Vij

Listen to this article

Chandigarh, October 22

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij strongly criticized Congress leader Randeep Surjewala over his tweet regarding post-Diwali pollution in Haryana, stating that certain elements and political parties in the country repeatedly target Hinduism, its traditions, and culture.

Responding to media queries, Vij said that “There are some elements and parties in India that constantly oppose Hinduism, its traditions, and its culture. This is nothing new. In ancient times, when sages performed Yagyas (rituals), demons like Tadka and Bhasmasur would attempt to disrupt them — these people belong to the same mindset. They insult Hinduism through their words and statements, he said.”

Commenting on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent video showing him making sweets at a shop during Diwali, Vij said that “Rahul Gandhi knows very well that his politics has come to an end. That’s why he is now looking for a new job. He keeps trying different things, but he doesn’t fit anywhere — because ‘those who failed in Lahore, will fail in Peshor too.’ Now, he seems to be experimenting with various activities just to stay relevant”, Vij added.
