Ludhiana, March 13
The Convocation Ceremony of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, was held today with great enthusiasm and pride. The ceremony was organized under the guidance of Principal Suman Lata. Dr. Jagdeep Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
In his address, he congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to pursue knowledge, dedication, and hard work in order to achieve success in life. During the convocation ceremony, 836 students were awarded their degrees for successfully completing their academic programmes.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride as students received their degrees in the presence of faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the college in providing quality education and shaping the future of young women. He also motivated the graduates to contribute positively to society and uphold the values of integrity and excellence.
The ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Manju Sahani , Dr. Jaswant Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Dr. Rajeev and PTA members of the college.
Nivedita Sharma (Deputy Registrar) significantly contributed to the smooth organization of the convocation ceremony. The stage proceedings were ably conducted by Dr. Harleen Kaur and Dr. Rupinder kaur. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the vice- principal Sarita Khurana expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, faculty members, staff, and students for making the ceremony a grand success.
