Dehradun, May 18
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has written a digital letter to the personnel selected in government service over the past four years, conveying his best wishes for a bright future. In the letter, the Chief Minister stated that in 2022, the people of Uttarakhand entrusted him for the second time with the responsibility of being the Chief Sevak. From the very day of assuming office, in line with this public mandate, a large-scale recruitment drive was launched to fill vacant posts in government departments to tackle unemployment. Over the past four years, the state government has appointed more than 30,000 youth as government servants, and this campaign continues.
The Chief Minister emphasized that now young people are being selected for government service based on their talent and hard work. While the dedication and ability of the youth play a vital role in this merit-based selection, the state government’s strict anti-cheating law and a fair, honest, and transparent recruitment process have ensured that young talent receives due recognition.
Dhami further said that being selected as a government servant in Uttarakhand is not only significant for the families of the personnel but also for the state government. Appealing to the selected personnel to remain impartial and honest in fulfilling their official duties, he urged them to always be ready to serve the public with human values. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also spoke to several selected youth over the phone, encouraging them to contribute enthusiastically to public service.
