Dhami inaugurates newly built Anand Dharamshala Trust in Haridwar

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the inauguration ceremony of the Dharamshala constructed by Shri Anand Dharamshala Trust in Haridwar as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the Anand Dharamshala Trust. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the Kshatriya Kalouta community has always played an important role in nation and society building through its hard work, courage, and values. He noted that members of this community have made remarkable contributions in agriculture, trade, education, social service, and national security.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the brave sons of the community are strengthening the nation’s borders and internal security by serving in the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force, and other security forces. He praised the Anand Dharamshala Trust for its efforts in religious awakening, cultural preservation, and human welfare, describing it as a living symbol of service, dedication, and philanthropy.

Dhami emphasized that Haridwar is the gateway to India’s spiritual consciousness and Sanatan culture, where devotees from across the country and abroad experience faith and spiritual energy in the lap of Mother Ganga. He said that building the Dharamshala for devotees’ convenience is a virtuous and commendable act, which will prove useful for millions of pilgrims during the upcoming Kumbh and Char Dham Yatra.

Dhami said that Haridwar is the gateway to India’s spiritual consciousness and Sanatan culture, where devotees from across the country and abroad experience faith and spiritual energy in the lap of Mother Ganga. The Chief Minister stated that preparations are underway to make the Haridwar Kumbh of 2027 grand, divine and secure under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned that rapid work is being carried out for the restoration of ghats, improvement of roads, sanitation, traffic management, and development of basic facilities to ensure every devotee has a well-organized and safe experience.

Dhami added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India’s Sanatan culture has gained global recognition. Referring to projects such as the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, redevelopment of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Mahakal Lok, he said that similar redevelopment and beautification works are progressing in Uttarakhand’s Kedarkhand and Manaskhand regions. He affirmed that the state government is committed to protecting Devbhoomi Uttarakhand’s cultural identity, Sanatan values, and social harmony. He also highlighted the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the state as a historic step to ensure equal rights and justice for all citizens, describing it as a significant decision towards honoring women and establishing a just society.

The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening law and order and maintaining social harmony. He said that directives have been issued to ensure religious events are held only at designated places so that the general public does not face inconvenience.

Expressing confidence, he said that just as the sacred Mother Ganga provides faith, peace, and spiritual energy to millions of devotees, Anand Dharamshala will, in the coming times, become an important center of service, support, and convenience for devotees, the needy, and society at large.
