On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand will launch a 15‑day special campaign from July 4 to address public grievances. Building on the success of last year’s initiative, the government will once again reach people directly through special camps at district, block, and tehsil levels. Officials and staff from concerned departments will participate to resolve citizens’ issues on the spot. The Chief Minister has repeatedly emphasized that people should not have to run from office to office for solutions. Instead, government officials must go to the people and settle complaints at their doorstep. With this vision, the state had earlier conducted a 45‑day campaign in December, during which 681 camps were organized, over 5.33 lakh citizens participated, and nearly 33,000 complaints were resolved swiftly. The initiative was widely recognized as a best practice in governance.
