The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized a Supplier Meet Program in association with Avon Cycles Ltd. at the CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana, to connect MSMEs with one of India’s leading bicycle manufacturers and create new business opportunities.
The program provided a platform for MSMEs to directly interact with the procurement and technical team of Avon Cycles and understand the company’s vendor requirements. Avon Cycles is expanding its supplier network and is looking for reliable manufacturing partners specializing in Sheet Metal Fabrication and Pipe/Tube Fabrication.
The Avon Cycles team comprised Amritpal Singh, DGM – R&D Department, Vinayak Gupta, GM & Purchase Head, and Inderjeet Singh, Manager – Tool Design Department. During the session, they explained the company’s quality standards, technical requirements, and vendor selection process. They also interacted with the participating industries and answered their queries regarding future business opportunities.
The supplier meet witnessed an encouraging response from MSMEs across the region. The participating companies appreciated the opportunity to interact directly with the Avon Cycles team and gain a better understanding of the company’s sourcing requirements. The session also helped manufacturers explore possibilities for long-term business partnerships with the company.
The program concluded with an interactive discussion, where industry representatives shared their manufacturing capabilities and expressed their interest in becoming approved suppliers for Avon Cycles. CICU will continue to organize such vendor development programs to help MSMEs connect with leading companies and expand their business opportunities.
