Chandigarh, October 14
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu, said the murder of Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa is an extremely unfortunate and tragic incident, expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved family. He categorically asserted that anyone who takes the law into their own hands and thinks they can escape the clutches of the police and administration is living under a mere illusion.
AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu stated, “The incident that took place in Mansa yesterday has deeply saddened everyone. Aam Aadmi Party and the Bhagwant Mann government stand with the family it this hour.”
The AAP Punjab Media In-charge said, “Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has consistently conveyed the same message from the very beginning: a zero-tolerance policy against drugs and drug peddlers is in force in Punjab. If someone takes the law into their own hands, as the individual from Mansa did, the police do their job. The police performed their duty and arrested him within 24 hours. The law is taking its course, and the administration is doing its job. Action has never been taken so quickly.”
Baltej Pannu said that no matter how powerful a person may be, if they harbour the illusion that they can take the law into their own hands and escape its reach, they are completely mistaken. Punjab is governed by the rule of law, and no one is above the law here.
