In the aftermath of District Manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa’s tragic death, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced a “free and fair” probe into the circumstances that lead to such an unfortunate incident. Acting swiftly, Mann confirmed that Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar has already tendered his resignation, following his directive. The Chief Minister emphasized that Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha has been tasked with leading the investigation, underscoring that “losing an officer to political pressure will not be tolerated.”
