PEC honours student excellence at Achievers’ Award Function 2026

Chandigarh, April 30

The Office of the Dean Student Affairs (DSA), Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, organized the prestigious Achievers’ Award Function 2026 to celebrate and honour the outstanding accomplishments of its students across diverse domains including academics, sports, technical activities, NCC, and cultural events.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Director of PEC, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, along with Dr. D.R. Prajapati, Dean Student Affairs; Dr. Puneet Chawla (ADSA, Clubs); Dr. Shobhna Dhiman (ADSA, Hostels); Dr. M.P. Garg. Faculty members, staff, and students were also present in large numbers to support and applaud the achievers.

DSA, Dr. D.R. Prajapati emphasized that the awards symbolize not just success, but the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the students. He lauded the achievements of PEC students at both national and international levels across research, athletics, and academic platforms.

Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director PEC, congratulated all the achievers and acknowledged their enthusiasm and determination. These achievements reflect not only your talents but also the values of teamwork, dedication, and integrity. Participate with passion and always uphold the highest standards of ethics.

Following the addresses, the award distribution ceremony commenced. Nearly 277 students were honoured during the event, including 237 achievers across various domains and 40 student Secretaries and Joint Secretaries from different clubs, cells, NCC, NSS, sports, and technical societies.
