Chandigarh, June 3
MY Bharat Chandigarh, in association with Prasanchetas Foundation, organized a cycling rally to commemorate World Bicycle Day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 38 young volunteers who cycled from Sector 38-C Market to the MY Bharat Office, Sector 12, Chandigarh.
The rally aimed to promote cycling as a healthy, economical, and environment-friendly mode of transportation while encouraging youth to adopt active lifestyles. Through the event, volunteers spread awareness about the benefits of cycling and conveyed the message of fitness and sustainable living to the community.
Vinay Kumar shared that World Bicycle Day is being observed by MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, across all districts of the country to promote the message of Fit India and encourage greater participation of youth in physical activities.
The participants expressed their commitment towards building a healthier, fitter, and greener India by incorporating cycling into their daily lives and motivating others to do the same. The programme concluded with appreciation for the active participation of volunteers and the support extended by Prasanchetas Foundation in making the event a success.
