Chandigarh, July 14
Chandigarh Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Sh. Manish Tewari inaugurated a CCTV cameras project in Daddu Majra. The project was funded through his Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) funds.
Addressing the gathering, the MP said that the CCTV cameras would help strengthen law and order in the area and assist the authorities in taking effective action against criminal elements. He added that his vision is to ensure the holistic development of Chandigarh, and that funds are being consistently allocated for various developmental projects across the city.
On the occasion, Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky said that true development requires the right intent, and MP Manish Tewari has demonstrated this through his continuous support for public welfare and infrastructure projects funded from his MPLAD allocation.
Among those present on the occasion included, H.S.Lucky, Chandramukhi Sharma, Councillor Kuldeep Tita, Harjinder Prince, Narendra Chaudhary, Babita, Satish Machal, and Mamta Dogra, who expressed their gratitude to the MP for his sustained contribution to the development of the city.
