Tewari attends Teej festival celebration

Chandigarh MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today attended the Teej festival celebration as the Chief Guest, which was organised at the Community Centre in Sector 45. Various cultural activities and performances were organised on the occasion. The event was organised by Gurpreet Singh Gabi.

Addressing the gathering, Tewari said that festivals are a reflection of our rich cultural heritage and traditions. He said he was delighted to be present at the celebration, where a variety of cultural performances showcased the vibrancy of our traditions.

Tewari emphasised that people should celebrate each other’s festivals together in a spirit of unity, harmony and brotherhood.

It is noteworthy that women from different age groups enthusiastically participated in the celebrations. They enjoyed swings, sang traditional boliyan, performed dances and celebrated the various colours and traditions associated with the Teej festival with great enthusiasm.
