Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal launched a fierce attack on CM Bhagwant Mann today at the ‘Punjab Bachao’ rally in Nihal Singh Wala in Moga district. He exposed a unique kind of GPAY being used in Punjab called AAP Da G-PAY’ = Gurpreet PAY, taking a direct swipe at the CM over serious allegations of corruption on his wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur who is said to have taken a bribe of Rs 5 crore to help a rapist get a clean chit and a free pass outside the country.
The posters were seen across Punjab specifically in SAS Nagar (Mohali), Ludhiana, Patiala, Ferozepur, Kotkapura, Moga and Pathankot at multiple neighbourhoods, colleges, universities and market hotspots.
‘Gurpreet Pay’ posters feature CM Bhagwant Mann and his wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, alongside a QR code displaying “₹5 Crore” and the message “Services”, listing alleged services including rape cases, transfers and postings, corruption and land grabbing.
The poster’s punchline reads: “Commit any crime, upload money on Punjab Da GPAY = Gurpreet Pay, transfer money to the CM’s wife and get a free pass!”
Upon scanning the code, you are directed to a 32-minute audio conversation between Dr. Gurpreet Kaur’s relative Amardeep Grewal, who can be heard trying to strike a deal with another person (Simranjit Hundal) to get rapist Guri Chahal a ‘clean chit’ for the alleged rape of 2 victims. In fact, the audio also exposes a discussion on how Guri should be shifted from a jail in Amritsar to a jail in Patiala where he would be provided ‘Afeem’ by the authorities without any hindrance.
