Ludhiana, December 21

In one of the most blistering assaults on the Anarchist Arrogant Party (AAP) government, Senior Congress leader and former DCC (Ludhiana Urban) President Pawan Dewan thundered that the “AAP regime” will go down as a dark, disgraceful chapter in Punjab’s history.

Declaring that the countdown for the AAP government has already begun, Dewan unleashed a hard-hitting critique, warning of the daily collapse of law and order under its watch. He accused the leadership of failing the people at every step, stating, “Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who also clings to the Home Portfolio, has proven himself to be among the ‘worst’ Chief Ministers the state has ever endured. His tenure is marked not by governance but by chaos, arrogance and betrayal of public trust.”

Meanwhile, under the banner of the “Janta Ka Neta, Janta Ke Beech” programme, Dewan stepped directly into the heart of Punjab Mata Nagar, engaging with residents in a spirited dialogue. The gathering was not just a meeting — it was a pulse-check of the people’s voice. Dewan passionately apprised citizens of the Congress party’s vision and policies, while opening the floor for frank, detailed discussions on the state’s most pressing concern: the rapidly deteriorating law and order.

With unwavering conviction and crystal clarity, Dewan declared that the Congress stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the people, a steadfast ally in their struggle to reclaim Punjab’s dignity. He vowed that the party’s mission is nothing less than the restoration of peace, justice and accountability across the state.

Addressing the gathering, Dewan reaffirmed that the Congress party is a movement built on unity — a force that believes in carrying every section of society together and driving inclusive, all-round development for Punjab’s future. Turning to the grim reality of the present, Dewan did not mince words. He warned that the law and order situation has spiraled dangerously, with incidents of crime erupting across districts and sowing an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among ordinary citizens.

Dewan’s message was clear: Punjab deserves leadership that safeguards its people, not one that leaves them vulnerable. In the face of these turbulent times, Dewan underscored that the people of Punjab are looking to the Congress party with immense hope and expectation. He declared that only Congress has the vision, strength and resolve to steer the state back onto the road of progress, peace, and prosperity. “Congress stands as the beacon of stability and growth, ready to restore Punjab’s rightful place as a land of opportunity, harmony and pride”, he announced.
