Dehradun, May 2
The Chief Minister instructed that a Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) chart be prepared to ensure timely completion and effective monitoring of CM announcements. Departments were directed to resolve issues related to electricity, drinking water, forest fires, human-wildlife conflict, and roads at the earliest. Special attention should be given to improving health facilities. Problems raised by legislators in their constituencies must be taken seriously and resolved on priority. Government orders pending for CM announcements must be issued by 15 June 2026. All departments should work in coordination to address public grievances.
On Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a review meeting at the Secretariat regarding CM announcements for Yamkeshwar, Pauri, Srinagar, Chaubattakhal, Lansdowne, and Kotdwar constituencies, gave these directions to officials. He announced that a hostel for girls will be built in each development block. For this, schools with the highest number of girl students in each block will be identified, and necessary land will be made available. He also directed that Raghunath Temple, Lakshman Temple (Kot block), and Sita Mata Temple (Phalswadi) be developed grandly as part of a religious circuit.
On proposals by legislators to open Kendriya Vidyalayas, the CM instructed the Education Department and concerned District Magistrates to ensure all necessary actions as per Central Government norms so that proposals are quickly approved once submitted. A multipurpose hall in Pauri will be built to help youth prepare for competitive exams.
The CM directed officials that problems raised by legislators during the meeting must be resolved on priority by the concerned departmental secretaries. He also ordered a separate review of ropeway-related cases under CM announcements, priority resolution of parking issues, and installation of solar panels in government offices on a regular basis.
