On Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the grievances of people from various districts of the state at the Chief Sevak Sadan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence. During the public hearing, a large number of citizens presented issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity, health, education, land matters, and other public interest concerns before the Chief Minister.
Dhami directed the Chief Minister’s Office and officials of the concerned departments to take prompt action on all complaints and demands received during the hearing, ensuring regular monitoring of each case. He emphasized that there should be no negligence or unnecessary delay in resolving public issues. The officials were instructed to immediately forward complaints to the relevant departments, ensure time-bound solutions, and provide feedback to the complainants about the actions taken.
The Chief Minister stated that the government’s priority is to provide swift and effective solutions to every citizen’s problems. He highlighted that public hearings are a powerful medium of dialogue between the government and the people, enabling the administration to understand ground-level issues and make effective decisions for their resolution.
Dhami further said that the state government is working with a commitment to public welfare, good governance, and holistic development. Delivering the benefits of development schemes to remote and border areas remains a top priority. Strict instructions have been issued to officials to ensure that government schemes and services reach people easily and within a fixed timeframe, in line with public expectations.
On this occasion, film actress Himani Shivpuri also met the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude for the improved arrangements made for devotees during the Char Dham Yatra. She remarked that the administration is working with full dedication to ensure better travel facilities. Anganwadi workers also thanked the Chief Minister for his positive assurances regarding their issues and demands.
