The PPCC president said, there are lakhs and crores of followers of Guru Ravidas who worship him with divine reverence. He pointed out, birth anniversaries of other Gurus and prophets are already observed as national holidays.

Warring said, since he comes from Punjab and where there is a large number of followers of Guru Ravidas, he has been pursuing the matter at multiple platforms. He said he wanted to raise it in the parliament today, but could not do it since the house was adjourned.

The PPCC president said, Guru Ravidas has preached the message of peace, harmony and universal brotherhood not for any particular sect, but for the entire humanity. “Guru Ravidas is an apostle for the entire mankind”, he remarked.
