New Delhi, April 21
BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh strongly condemned Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for using the word ‘terrorist’ for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling it a direct attack on democratic decorum. Chugh said this is not merely the use of an inappropriate word, but a reflection of the declining political culture of the Congress party.
Chugh stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the longest-serving public representatives in the country, repeatedly elected with an overwhelming mandate and chosen for a third consecutive term by the people. He added that PM Modi is widely regarded as a leader of the poor, who has brought transformative change to millions of lives and demonstrated that poverty can be eradicated with the right intent.
Chugh further said that using a word like ‘terrorist’ for such a leader reflects the mental bankruptcy, frustration, and deep disappointment within the Congress leadership. According to Chugh, Congress leaders have completely forgotten democratic values and are resorting to personal attacks and toxic language instead of engaging in constructive discourse.
Chugh noted that after being repeatedly rejected by the people, the Congress party’s frustration is now visible in such irresponsible statements. He said this remark exposes their desperation and inability to accept the people’s mandate.
Chugh said that the people of India will not tolerate such arrogance and insult, and will give a strong and befitting reply to the Congress party and its leadership through democratic means.
