Chandigarh, September 10
Chandigarh MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari dedicated the newly installed CCTV cameras in Sector 43 and Sector 48 to the public. The cameras have been installed using funds released under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) and will play an important role in ensuring the safety of residents and their valuable belongings.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, MP Manish Tewari said that enhancing security and maintaining surveillance in public places is an important need of the hour. He said these projects are a significant step towards ensuring public safety and making effective use of public funds.
Tewari also expressed his gratitude to the local residents and administrative officials for their cooperation and support, stating that the project would not have been possible without the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
Regional Councillor Prem Lata, JJ Singh, President of Gurdwara Sahib Sector 34 Tejwant Singh Gill, President of Sanatan Dharma Mandir Sector 35 Ramesh Dilawari, Seva Singh, P.D.
