Saina and Khanna met during the finals of the BWF World Championships 2026 in New Delhi, where she extended her best wishes to the Punjab Badminton Association (PBA) for the upcoming Sub-Junior National Badminton Championships.

In her message to Khanna, Saina said, “I wish PBA all the very best for the Under-13 National Championship. You are doing very good work and I hope you keep promoting badminton in your state like this.
