Reinforcing its commitment to community development and inclusive education, Trident Group, through the Trident Humanity Foundation, has introduced an E-Rickshaw service to provide free transportation for school-going children from the nearby communities of Gwardia, Patalkho, and Mahukala. The initiative has been implemented under the Foundation’s Village Adoption Programme, which focuses on rural development and Shiksha Protsahan (education promotion) through village transformation.

The initiative benefits 122 students from Classes 1 to 10 studying at Government High School, Patalkho, Budhni, by providing a free pick-up and drop facility for children commuting from Gwardia village and nearby colony areas.

A survey conducted by the Foundation revealed that students were required to walk long distances to reach school, with the challenge becoming particularly severe during the rainy season. This significantly affected regular school attendance and access to education.

To address this issue, Trident Group introduced a dedicated E-Rickshaw service that ensures safe, reliable, and convenient transportation for students. The service operates in accordance with school timings, enabling uninterrupted access to education.

Through this initiative, Trident Humanity Foundation continues to create meaningful social impact by removing barriers to education, promoting regular school attendance, and supporting the holistic development and well-being of children and communities. The initiative further advances the Foundation’s vision of rural development, community empowerment, and educational advancement under its Village Adoption Programme.
