Reaffirming its commitment towards accessible and quality education, CT Group has continued its ₹60 crore scholarship initiative in memory of Lt. Dr. Manmohan Singh for deserving and aspiring students across its educational institutions. The initiative reflects the institution’s vision of encouraging academic excellence while supporting students from diverse social and economic backgrounds.
The scholarship schemes will be applicable across CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus, CT University, CT Public School and CT World School. The scholarships have been thoughtfully structured to benefit meritorious students and various categories, including alumni, siblings, teachers’ wards, defence families and CT staff wards.
Under the CTSET Scholarship scheme, students can avail scholarship benefits based on their performance in the CTSET examination as per the slabs defined in the university fee structure. The scheme is open to all students applying for admission, with registration and appearance in CTSET being mandatory.
CT Group alumni applying for readmission or enrolling in a new programme can avail the lowest fee structure, along with a 25% one-time discount on the first-semester applicable fee under the Alumni Scholarship scheme. Uniform and library fee waivers will also be provided if not refunded earlier. Similarly, under the Sibling Scholarship scheme, siblings of existing CT students can avail the lowest fee structure along with a 25% one-time discount on the first semester’s applicable fee.
As a gesture of respect for the teaching fraternity, the Teachers Scholarship scheme offers wards of teachers the lowest fee structure, along with a 25% one-time discount on the first-semester applicable fee. The scheme is applicable for students whose parents are regular teachers in a recognized institution with a minimum of one year of teaching experience.
Children and wards of CT staff members will also receive the lowest fee structure, along with a 25% fee concession on every semester fee under the CT Staff Ward Scholarship scheme in recognition of the dedication and contribution of CT employees. In addition, CT Group is offering scholarships up to 90% for wards of military personnel along with Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) benefits for eligible students under government norms.
Speaking on the initiative, Chairman CT Group Charanjit Singh Channi said, “This scholarship initiative in the memory of Lt. Dr Manmohan Singh is a tribute to his vision of empowering society through education. At CT Group, we strongly believe that financial limitations should never become a barrier to quality education. Through these scholarship opportunities, we aim to encourage and support deserving students in achieving their academic goals.”
Sharing his views, Dr Manbir Singh stated, “CT Group has consistently worked towards creating meaningful opportunities for students from every section of society. These scholarships are not merely financial assistance but an effort towards nurturing future leaders, innovators and responsible citizens. We welcome students to become a part of the CT family and shape a brighter future.”
