Chandigarh, June 4

Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today criticized the sacking of some employees of ‘Seva Kendras’ in different districts by the Aam Aadmi Party government. In a statement, Warring said that the employees have been demanding their rightful due for the last so many days. Instead of the AAP government listening to their problems has sacked some of the employees who were spearheading the agitation in support of their demands, he said, adding, this is absolutely an arbitrary, authoritarian and dictatorial way of doing things of the AAP government. The PCC president said that these employees working in various ‘Seva Kendras’ are providing services to common people at the grassroots of the administration. They deserve to be treated like other employees, he noted, while demanding immediate revocation of the dismissal of their office bearers and absorption in government as regular employees like other contractual staff.
