Chandigarh, July 14

Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the country’s first hydrogen-powered train from Jind on July 17. He said that, as current situation where conventional energy sources such as oil and coal are gradually being depleted, it has become essential to transition to alternative sources of energy. This is why the Prime Minister is strongly promoting solar energy, wind energy and hydrogen energy.

While interacting with the media persons today, Vij said that Modi is continuously taking the country to new heights. He added that the country’s first hydrogen-powered train is also being inaugurated from Haryana. Referring to the present circumstances, he noted that with traditional energy sources like oil and coal gradually running out, it is imperative to adopt alternative energy sources. Therefore, the Prime Minister is giving significant encouragement to solar energy, wind energy and hydrogen energy.
