unjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has turned out to be the “serial defaulter in terms of incompetence, irregularities and corruption”.
Warring said the AAP government was not only guilty of the paper leaks, but also sabotaging the recruitment process for various jobs and betraying the trust of the youth.
Reacting to the Punjab and Haryana High Court staying the recruitment process for 41 Block Programme Managers and 44 Cluster Coordinators under the Punjab State Rural Livelihoods Mission, the PCC president said that this was done after serious irregularities were found in the recruitment process.
Warring disclosed that the recruitment process which had begun in January, and the results were declared in February, was challenged by the applicants as they suspected irregularities in the marks allotted during the interview and they had approached the court.
The PCC president noted that the High Court had summoned the complete recruitment record and constituted a committee comprising lawyers and officials of the Rural Development Department to examine the records.
The committee, during its scrutiny, found irregularities in the allocation of marks. Based on the committee’s findings, the court has stayed the recruitment process until the next hearing, he said, while observing this proves beyond any doubt that the recruitment process was shady and the applicants’ apprehensions were genuine .
Warring noted that the current stay comes shortly after the Punjab and Haryana High Court also stayed the Pharmacist Officer recruitment process in Punjab.
The PCC president said that it was a matter of a few months more when the Congress government will be formed and everything will be accounted for and responsibility fixed. He said the AAP government was not only guilty of paper leaks, but also sabotaging the recruitment process as well.
