State Government and state organizations will jointly celebrate the completion of PM Narendra Modi’s 25 years of continuous service. In Uttar Pradesh, ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will run from September 17 to October 17. Through the campaign, welfare-oriented achievements, policy reforms and changes brought about in the country and state during PM’s 25 years of service will be taken to every section of society, while every citizen will be connected with the national resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
On Thursday, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed campaign preparations in the presence of BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal. He said the campaign should be conducted with extensive public participation and that achievements in service, good governance, welfare of the poor, and development should be brought before the people through the stories of actual beneficiaries. Every section of society, including youth, women, farmers and deprived sections, should be made a participant in the resolve of Viksit Bharat. CM instructed all in-charge ministers to visit the districts and their respective assembly constituencies to review the preparations.
The meeting noted that a three-tier coordination system has been established at the government, CM’s Office, and district levels. A data bank of development works undertaken by Central Government over 12 years and State Government over 10 years has been prepared. Campaign will connect 4.19 crore families and 15.74 crore beneficiaries, including 3.51 crore rural and 0.68 crore urban families.
Under ‘Seva Diwas: Aashirwad Ka Diya’ on September 17, lamps will be lit at 7 pm along with service activities. Lamps will also be lit at beneficiary families’ homes and sites of major development projects. The in-charge minister for program will be Dharmveer Prajapati. On the same day, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Vishwakarma Puja will be organized in all assembly constituencies and toolkits will be distributed to artisans.
‘Mere Sapnon Ka Bharat: Chitra Seva’ will continue from September 17 to October 7. Under this, painting and speech competitions will be organized in schools, while speech and debate competitions will be held in higher educational institutions. Certificates and awards will be given to outstanding talents. In-charge Minister Sandeep Singh was instructed to ensure maximum participation.
Under ‘Namo Seva: Ankahi Kahaniyan’, cultural street plays will take the story of 25 years of service, welfare schemes, and development to villages and cities. Culture Department will form teams of artists in each district. In-charge Minister Jaiveer Singh was instructed to ensure quality performances and honor local talent.
In ‘Aangan Milan Seva’, three-day programs will be organized at Anganwadi centers from September 25 to October 7. Workers, helpers, Asha Didis and outstanding beneficiary mothers will be honored, along with a Healthy Baby Competition and activities related to nutrition and health. In-charge Minister Baby Rani Maurya was instructed to ensure active participation of mothers.
‘Seva Ki Kahani’ will cover the digital and reel campaign, and 60-second real stories highlighting changes in the lives of 25 lakh beneficiaries will be shared. Along with projects such as housing, schools, expressways, airports, metro and universities, it will also include success stories of beneficiaries of CM’s Discretionary Fund and Ayushman Bharat. In-charge Minister Girishchand Yadav was instructed to select real and impactful stories.
In ‘Influencers Connect’, a total of 150 digital influencers, podcasters and vloggers will visit the state’s transformative projects. Through major locations including Prerna Sthal, expressways, airports, BIDA Jhansi, Ram Mandir, Kashi Corridor and Defence Corridor, the transformation of development, ‘before and after’, will be showcased. In-charge Minister Brijesh Singh was instructed to select suitable locations.
In ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra Sankalp of Viksit Bharat’, on October 7, Seva Jyoti, walking, cycle and bike rallies will be organized in the districts, along with a collective resolve for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. The PM’s address will also be live-broadcast. In-charge Minister Jaswant Singh Saini was instructed to ensure robust arrangements for cleanliness and crowd management.
‘Vadnagar se Varanasi Yatra-Jal, Jan aur Seva Sankalp’ will start from Varanasi. 250 bikes and 500 passengers will travel to Vadnagar carrying Gangajal. Twenty groups will travel through different routes and Kashi Vishwanath and Hatkeshwar Mahadev in Vadnagar will be consecrated with the sacred water from both places. The public will interact and schemes will be promoted during the journey. In-charge Minister JPS Rathore was instructed to complete the arrangements on time.
In ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’, citizens will be connected with 25 service activities, including blood donation, tree plantation, cleanliness, health check-ups, educational support, water conservation, de-addiction, nutrition, cyber security, support for persons with disabilities and awareness of government schemes. A digital certificate will be issued to those who contribute at least 25 minutes of voluntary labor and upload a photo or video on the ‘My Bharat Portal’.
Under ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, seven-day multipurpose service camps will be organized in every development block. Along with health services, people can get information on Central and State schemes, applications, eligibility verification, and the approval process in one place. ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang’ will cover human formations at major public places and showcase welfare schemes, national symbols, and ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ through rangoli. A ‘Bharat Mandal’ with a diameter of 108 meters and a grand human rangoli will be created.
In the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’, youth, students, startups, professionals and innovators will present new solutions. Orientation programs, exhibitions, live demos, youth dialogues and award programs will be organized at universities, engineering colleges, ITIs and polytechnics. In-charge Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal was instructed to ensure maximum participation from talented youth.
The campaign will conclude on October 17, with ‘Sushasan Seva Samvad’. Public representatives, from Gram Pradhan to Member of Parliament, will gather to honor the PM’s 25 years of service and take the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. All sections, including women and youth, will participate.
In addition to these, laser shows on the theme of ‘Namo Seva’ will be organized at major monuments and tourist destinations; Mahayagyas will be conducted at pilgrimage sites and Shaktipeeths for the welfare of the nation and the resolve of Viksit Bharat; libraries will be inaugurated on September 25. Gram Chaupals will be organized in rural areas.
Chief Minister stated that ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is an opportunity to take the achievements of the PM’s 25 years of service to every section of society and to turn the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ into a people’s resolve. By bringing together service activities, development work, real stories of beneficiaries, the talent of youth, cultural programs, and the participation of public representatives, the campaign should be taken forward as a comprehensive journey from ‘Seva to Sankalp’.
