Former Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has strongly condemned Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for what he described as the continued disrespect of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that if the Chief Minister had any facts to present, he should have appeared before Sri Akal Takht Sahib and submitted them there. Instead, he has been repeatedly holding press conferences, thereby challenging the authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
In a message shared on social media, Sunil Jakhar wrote, “Bhagwant Mann Ji, if you had any facts, you should have presented them before Sri Akal Takht Sahib as a humble Sikh, because your matter is already under consideration there. Either you do not have the courage to face the truth, or it is your arrogance that is driving you to hold one press conference after another in an attempt to undermine Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Remember, Arrogance leads to one’s downfall.”
