Patiala Foundation in collaboration with Kataline Ltd. for a dynamic Road Safety Awareness and Reflective Vest Distribution Drive on today at Rajindra Gymkhana & Maharani Club, Patiala. Powered by Project SADAK and Kataline Glow for Life, the event equipped nighttime workers with vital visibility gear and ignited concern for proactive road safety.
Project SADAK, led by Patiala Foundation, continues to play an important role in driving community-based road safety awareness and responsible road usage through structured outreach and engagement initiatives. Over the years, Patiala Foundation has actively worked on several public awareness and social responsibility campaigns related to road safety and civic awareness. The Foundation has conducted awareness drives, reflective material distribution campaigns, youth engagement activities, and community outreach programs focused on safe mobility, pedestrian awareness, and worker protection. Through educational sessions, public interaction campaigns, and collaborative initiatives, the Foundation continues to advocate for responsible road usage and preventive safety measures.
Kataline Ltd., with its extensive experience in road safety materials, marking systems and infrastructure solutions, continues to contribute to initiatives that improve visibility and safety across both large-scale infrastructure projects and community-level interventions. Its involvement in this initiative reinforces the importance of integrating engineering-led solutions with awareness-driven efforts to strengthen road safety outcomes.
At the core of the initiative is Kataline Glow for Life, a focused programme by Kataline Ltd. aimed at enhancing visibility and protection for vulnerable road users through practical, high-impact interventions. This first phase centres on reflective safety solutions and awareness-driven engagement at the community level.
The event was graced by the presence of Special guest Puneet Singh Chahal, PPS, DSP Traffic who lauded Patiala Foundation’s outstanding dedication to road safety awareness and while appreciating the initiative, highlighted the importance of adoption of road safety provisions in totality. This proactive step of the Foundation aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3,11 and SDG 17, by promoting public safety, sustainable communities, and collaborative efforts for social welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, Founder and CEO of Patiala Foundation, emphasized the importance of road safety and collective responsibility, stating, “Road safety is a collective duty of each individual of our society. Every worker who serves the community deserves protection and visibility on the roads. We all should take judicious steps towards ensuring that our roads are not just safe for us but for each commuter. I applaud the efforts of Kataline Ltd., who go an extra mile to protect lives.”
