The village of Golpura in the Raipur Rani area witnessed a major boost to development today. Member of Parliament Kartikeya Sharma laid the foundation stone for several development projects in Gram Panchayat Golpura, including a community centre, an Ambedkar Bhawan, construction of village lanes, ring road works, and a lane leading up to the graveyard. A large number of villagers were present on the occasion and extended a warm welcome to the MP.

According to available information, development works worth over ₹1.26 crore have been completed or are at various stages in Gram Panchayat Golpura between October 2024 and January 2026. These include an open gym in the school complex, RCC pillars on Panchayat land, works related to the cremation ground, paver blocks, water tanks, street construction, the community centre, and the Ambedkar Bhawan.

Addressing the public gathering, Sharma said that all pending works in the Kalka area would now be completed. He stated that development would not remain confined to a single village or constituency, but the entire district would rise, with rapid development taking place across Kalka, Panchkula, and Raipur Rani. Reassuring the public, he said that the promises made to the people would be fulfilled. This, he added, was just the beginning, the start of a journey whose results would be clearly visible in the times to come.

The MP further informed that work on roads is already underway and road construction will be completed soon, which will improve connectivity and make daily life easier for residents. In an emotional interaction with villagers, Sharma said, “You are my entire family. The doors of my home are open for you 24 hours a day.” He also said that MLA Shakti Rani Sharma is constantly concerned about ensuring maximum development in her constituency and that all efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach people directly.

Sharing a broader vision of development, the MP said that to achieve a Developed India, Kalka must first be developed, followed by Raipur Rani and Panchkula, and only then will the entire state of Haryana move forward. Speaking on women’s health, he stated that the ‘Namo Shakti Rath’ initiative was launched by him personally to ensure early detection of serious diseases such as cancer. He added that the central government is providing financial assistance of up to ₹5 lakh for treatment to poor families, while screening facilities are being made available on the ground, as a developed India is not possible without a healthy India.
