Under the headship of BJP Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh, a protest was held. The protestors raised slogans against alleged atrocities on students and demanding accountability from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Demonstrators carried placards highlighting issues of injustice and held a large banner reading “Rahul Gandhi, answer for the student oppression in Jharkhand.”

The protestors accused the state government of failing to safeguard student rights and called upon national leadership to respond to their grievances. The demonstration reflected growing anger among the student community, with participants insisting that silence from political leaders amounts to complicity. Organizers stated that the agitation would intensify if their demands remain unaddressed.

This protest underscores the rising discontent among youth in Jharkhand and places direct pressure on Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stance on student‑related issues.
