Chandigarh/Rewari, May 4

Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Rao Narendra Singh carried out an extensive public outreach campaign in Rewari during the ongoing municipal elections in support of Congress candidates. He addressed public meetings for Congress’s chairperson candidate Niharika Chaudhary as well as ward councillor candidates, appealing to the people for their support.

Singh said that the people of Rewari want change, and the Congress party has entered the fray with issues of development, transparency, and public welfare. He alleged that under the current administration, local problems have been neglected, forcing ordinary citizens to struggle for basic amenities. He highlighted that during Congress’s tenure, Rewari witnessed unprecedented development — the Indira Gandhi University and the Sainik School were both established under Congress rule. He emphasized that Congress stands for the ideology of progress and upliftment.

Expressing confidence, Singh said Congress candidates will live up to the expectations of the people and chart a new course of development in Rewari. Appealing to voters, Singh urged them to support Congress candidates to pave the way for holistic development of the city. On this occasion, local Congress workers and a large number of supporters were present, participating enthusiastically in the election campaign.
