New Delhi, May 4
As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) erupted in jubilation over its historic triumph in West Bengal, the party’s National Spokesperson and party’s prominent Punjab leader Jaiveer Shergill declared the victory to be nothing short of a collective conquest. Shergill hailed it as the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, alongside every organizational office bearer and the tireless party cadre.
“This is a cohesive victory of the entire party—one for which the Prime Minister and Home Minister have worked day and night,” Shergill asserted, underscoring the unity and relentless effort that powered the BJP’s march to glory.
In a series of Tweets on his social handle X, Shergill mentioned that he has already predicted that on August 15, 2026, the BJP Chief Minister will unfurl the national flag in West Bengal. “From Gangotri to Gangasagar, it will be BJP everywhere.” Taking a jibe at the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, the BJP spokesperson said, “Big day for Congress: Today, under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress has crossed a century in losing elections.”
Shergill showered accolades on the entire BJP leadership—right from the high command to the grassroots cadre— for scripting yet another emphatic chapter in the party’s rise, as the saffron wave swept through Assam and Puducherry. “Brahmaputra has blessed BJP once again in Assam. The flow of Vikas and Vishwas has once again wiped out the politics of Vinaash”, he wrote on Twitter.
Shergill did not stop here. He added that the saffron party’s next destination will be Punjab. “Punjab Next!! AAP pack your bags,” he wrote in another tweet.
