BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said here that the AAP government in Punjab has become a “drama company” after having failed to deliver on any front after four and half years of its rule. Chugh said the only contribution of the Bhagwant Mann government has been that Punjab was handed over to gangsters and extortionists who ran drug mafia, land mafia, terror mafia.
Chugh said the BJP organised a Janata Di Vidhan Sabha session separate to highlight the real issues that have been the main concern, be that unemployment, farmers’ welfare or women welfare. He said all the schemes announced by the Bhagwant Mann government, be it the health insurance scheme or women pension, have fallen flat.
The Kejriwal-Mann duo have looted Punjab to fill their coffers at the cost of public welfare and now when the AAP government is on the last leg it is all drama of holding a special Janata Assembly session for workers. “If the AAP government was serious about why it was sleeping all four years”, Chugh questioned.
Chugh added, “The economy of Punjab has gone to dogs under the AAP government with debt mounting up to close to Rs. 4.5 lakh crores. The AAP government has pushed Punjab to the brink where farmers have not received any MSP, government employees are crying for their rightful DA, youth has got nothing to look upto, women are no less disappointed”.
