Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Media In-Charge and State General Secretary Organisation Baltej Pannu pointed out that the opposition parties, particularly the Akali Dal, are resorting to fake videos and misinformation because they have no issue left to raise against the Bhagwant Mann Government. He said that the Congress, BJP, and Akali Dal have made targeting CM Bhagwant Singh Mann their sole agenda as they are unable to challenge the government’s work on development, governance, and public welfare.

Pannu stated that the success of the Maavan-Dheeyan Satkar Yojna has unsettled the opposition, leading to attempts to create confusion among people. He said that while the AAP government has fulfilled more promises than it made to the people, the opposition has no roadmap for 2027 and is relying on propaganda and misinformation.

Addressing a press conference, Pannu said that for the past few days, opposition parties have been creating unnecessary noise and confusion, with leaders of the Congress and Akali Dal openly amplifying each other’s propaganda. “Whether it is the Congress, Akali Dal or BJP, all of them have only one target: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. They have no agenda for Punjab and no vision for the future; their politics revolves solely around attacking Bhagwant Mann,” he said.

Pannu showed two different videos to the media, one original and other fabricated by Akali Dal, and said that Akali Dal manipulated and circulated a fake video of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to suit its political narrative. “The original video was from Chanarthal village in Fatehgarh Sahib district, where the Chief Minister was interacting with women during a public meeting and seeking their suggestions on how they would utilize the financial assistance to be provided under the government’s ‘Maavan-Dheeyan Satkar Yojna’,” he added.
