The Bharatiya Janata Party, Himachal Pradesh, has constituted a State-Level Charge Sheet Committee and a State-Level Mass Agitation Committee to expose the anti-people policies, unfulfilled promises, corruption, and administrative failures of the Congress government and to launch a statewide public movement against it. BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that during its three-and-a-half years in office, the Congress government has betrayed the trust of the people and pushed Himachal Pradesh into economic and administrative distress by bringing development activities to a standstill. He categorically stated, “The Congress government will be surrounded on every front and politically cornered.” He added that the BJP would take the government’s failures to every village and every household while launching a strong public movement on issues concerning the people of the state.
Dr. Bindal said that the Charge Sheet Committee has been constituted to prepare a comprehensive document detailing the failures, corruption, anti-people decisions, and unfulfilled promises of the Congress government. The committee comprises BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Rajya Sabha MP and State General Secretary Prof. Sikander Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, MLA and former State BJP President Satpal Singh Satti, MLA and Media Department In-charge Randhir Sharma, MLA and former Minister Vikram Thakur, MLA and former Minister Sudhir Sharma, MLA and State Vice President Balbir Verma, State General Secretary Payal Vaidya, MLA and Senior Spokesperson Trilok Jamwal, and Senior Spokesperson and former MLA Rajendra Rana. The committee will prepare a factual report highlighting the failures and shortcomings of the Congress government and present it before the people.
Similarly, the Mass Agitation Committee has been constituted to formulate the strategy for statewide public awareness campaigns, protests, demonstrations, and mass outreach programmes. The committee includes BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, MP and former State BJP President Suresh Kashyap, MP and State Vice President Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut, MLA and State Vice President Vipin Singh Parmar, MLA and State Vice President Pawan Kajal, MLA and State Vice President Vinod Kumar, State Vice President Bihari Lal Sharma, MLA and Chief Spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal, former Minister Govind Singh Thakur, former Minister Dr. Rajeev Saizal, State Vice President Rashmidhar Sood, and MLA and State Spokesperson D.S. Thakur. The committee will lead the statewide movement against the Congress government and strengthen the voice of the people across every district and Assembly constituency.
Dr. Bindal said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to safeguarding the interests of the people, ensuring the state’s development, and providing good governance. He asserted that the Congress government will be held accountable before the people for every false promise, anti-people decision, and administrative failure. He emphasized that this initiative is not merely a political programme but a comprehensive public campaign aimed at protecting the interests of Himachal Pradesh and restoring the people’s trust. The notification regarding the constitution of both State-level committees has been formally issued by BJP State Office Secretary Shri Pramod Kumar.
