Ludhiana, June 11
The Congress Party further consolidated its strength in the Ludhiana West Assembly constituency today with the formal induction of new Block Chairmen of the Scheduled Caste Department, District Congress Committee, Ludhiana. Appointment letters were handed over in the presence of Advocate Rahul Puhal, Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Department.
Former District Congress Committee, Ludhiana (Urban) president Pawan Dewan and Office In‑charge of MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring Jagsir Singh Sidhu, presented letters of appointment to Rupesh Chotala (Block‑1) and Kamaljit Singh (Block‑2).
Congratulating the new appointees, Advocate Rahul Puhal reaffirmed the Congress Party’s commitment to the welfare of all sections of society. He expressed confidence that both leaders would work tirelessly to amplify the voice of the Scheduled Caste community and strengthen the organization at the grassroots.
Dewan and Sidhu also extended their best wishes, stressing that the people of Punjab are increasingly disillusioned with the anti‑people policies of the Aam Aadmi Party government and now look to Congress as the credible alternative. They emphasized that the new Block Chairmen carry the responsibility of taking the party’s vision and programs to every household with full dedication.
In their remarks, Rupesh Chotala and Kamaljit Singh thanked the party high command and senior leaders for the trust reposed in them. They pledged to discharge their duties with complete commitment and to live up to the expectations of the organization.
