Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s two-day visit to Gujarat has yielded significant success in attracting investments to the state. Following positive outcomes from meetings with leading industrialists and investors in Gujarat, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for investment proposals worth over Rs. 50,000 crore have been signed for Haryana. These investment proposals are expected to accelerate industrial development and create extensive employment opportunities in the state.

On Wednesday, Saini held one-to-one meetings with business leaders and investors in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present on the occasion. The MoUs signed on Wednesday primarily include investment proposals worth around Rs. 25,000 crore in the defence, real estate, and oil and gas sectors. In addition, investment proposals worth Rs. 1,400 crore have been received in the agriculture and food processing sector and Rs. 2,900 crore in the semiconductor sector. MoUs have also been signed for investments in the compressed biogas and civil aviation sectors. On the first day of the visit, MoUs involving investments worth around Rs. 12,000 crore had also been signed.

During his visit to Gujarat, Saini held one-to-one meetings with various industrialists and investors and invited them to expand their businesses in Haryana. He apprised the investors of the state’s industry-friendly policies, robust infrastructure, improved connectivity, skilled human resources, and conducive business environment. He assured them that the Haryana Government is committed to providing simplified procedures, digital facilities, and all necessary assistance in accordance with the rules for setting up industries and implementing investment projects.

The Chief Minister said that Haryana will play a significant role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. Under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the state government is committed to fulfilling the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat–Viksit Haryana’. The government aims to make Haryana a leading state in investment, industry, and manufacturing, while creating new employment opportunities and accelerating the state’s economic growth.

The Chief Minister said that both Haryana and Gujarat have established distinct identities in entrepreneurship, manufacturing, and industrial development. Enhanced cooperation between industrialists from the two states would open up new possibilities for investment, technological innovation, production capacity, and employment generation. The Haryana Government aims to further strengthen the state’s position as a leading hub for industrial development and manufacturing by providing a conducive environment for investors.

The Chief Minister invited industrialists and investors from Gujarat to participate in the proposed ‘Happening Haryana Global Summit’, scheduled to be held in Haryana in April 2027. He urged investors to take advantage of the state’s industrial potential and expand their business and industrial operations in Haryana.
